We met with Dr. S for the final time last week.  It is not our last perinatal visit, but he is moving his family to Pittsburgh at the end of the month so our final visit with his office will be with a different doctor.  We are happy for him and his new position, but sorry to see him go.  It has been a wonderful experience working with him.  I wonder if the new doctor will call her sweetpea   continue reading »

Greg and I made the trek down to San Antonio last Wednesday for another appointment with the perinatologist.  Our sweet girl would not uncurl herself, so they had a hard time looking at everything.   From what he could see, her heart looks good, and it still appears as though her liver is down (freaking awesome!).  We also learned her head lung ratio is above 1. Saturday marked 19 weeks for us…almost halfway there!  The morning/all day sickness has finally subsided, and the second trimester glow is starting to kick in.  This week also marks an important occasion.  Our one big ultrasound is scheduled for Wednesday. continue reading »

Sometimes, it feels good to cry.  Today, I held a sweet 5 day old baby boy.  He was so tiny, so perfect, I started crying the moment I picked him up.  I did not want to put that baby down.  I can not explain that feeling.   continue reading »

We are PREGNANT!

We found out right before thanksgiving and little baby Taylor is due at the end of July.  Greg always said he wanted to be married for 5 years before we had children.  Well, he will more than likely get his wish.  Our 5 year anniversary is July 30th and our official due date is July 31st.  Honey, you are the best subconscious planner ever    continue reading »
